Smoker’s Hack

I’ve never had Pioneer Chicken, but everyone swears it’s better than KFC. And I believe them, because even the Stater Bros. fried chicken beats it. And although I consider myself a Pollo Campero girl, I have to give props to the Pioneer Chicken. What other fried chicken restaurant has such loyal and fierce fans?

This Pioneer Chicken ashtray is from my collection. It represents a time to me where you could sit in peace and harmony while filling your lungs with tar and your arteries full of grease. Mmmm…..chicken and smokes.
