IHOP has it’s charm. The Rooty Tooty Fresh and Fruity is usually decent. They have lots of syrups on the table for you to choose from. You get a whole carafe of hot coffee on your table. What more can you ask for?
IHOP cared about their smoking customers (which probably made for 75% of their business). So they just didn’t offer you any ol’ matches – these had a self-sticking tab you peeled off and then you would stick them on your pack of smokes SO YOU WOULD NEVER LOSE YOUR MATCHES EVER AGAIN! And they didn’t have regular ol’ ashtrays – oh no! They had fancy blue ashtrays. Oh IHOP, the smoker of yore salutes you.
